The LX 250 is a neutral, odourless and universal cold degreaser for the cleaning and degreasing of metal.
This degreaser dissolves dirt, oil and grease on parts of motors, machines, apparatus, electro motors, hydraulic apparatus, etc. and can be used in the metal and electro technical industry. The LX 250 can also be utilized in companies where each odour inconvenience of degreasers is undesirable or a balanced evaporation rapidity of the degreaser obliged is.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The LX 250 is a new cold degreaser made of aliphatic hydrocarbons of high purity and offers a lot of advantages:
- does not contain chloride carbons
- is odourless (no odour inconvenience)
- has a balanced evaporation rapidity (does not dry fast, but also not extremely slow)
- nice to use for your personal
- no lesion of the ozone
- appropriate for all surfaces
- appropriate for all pollutions
- good cleaning
- recycling is possible
- without aromatics and halogens
THE LX 250:
- is safe in use, if the necessary directives and instructions are followed
- can specially be used in those situations where other degreasers cause odour convenience and where the evaporation
rapidity is less appropriate
- has no residue odour
- is safe and neutral
- causes no corrosion on steel, aluminium or other metals
- attacks no rubber, coats or plastic
- is less dangerous and less harmful as f. ex. white spirit, thinner, cleaning spirit, many chloride solvents and conventional
degreasers
- does not contain chlorine: can not cause any toxic vapours in the neighborhood of warm sources
- gives no photo chemical smog in the atmosphere: is a very ecofriendly product
The evaporation losses are limited as a result of the adapted evaporation rapidity. This gives a decrease and less pollution load of air in the working area in comparison with faster evaporating degreasers.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The directives and instructions below are drew up very accurate and critical, for the benefit of the safety and industrial hygiene in the working area and in the interest of the company and the employees.
- The LX 250 has to be used cold. Do not heat this product or mix it with water.
- Clean little pieces or tools with a brush, f. ex. with the help of a Laborex component cleaning table.
- Clean bigger pieces by prefer in a closed cabin, f. ex. in a Laborex blasting cabin.
- Clean fixed apparatus, machines, etc. by means of spraying. Spray a thin jet of water, but no mist due to the risks of
inhalation of little drops.
- Wear solid plastic or rubber gloves during the work to prevent degreasing and irritating of the skin. Do not use this product in
the neighborhood of fire, welding flames, etc. Do not smoke when using this product.
- Do not clean any objects that have a higher temperature than the flash point of the LX 250.
- Do not use the LX 250 in vapour degreasing installations.
- Be sure that there is enough ventilation in the working area.
- Immersion baths or other apparatus with a lid do have to be closed carefully after using.
DRYING METHODS
By using compressed air, cold air, warm air, vacuum or plasma.
ENVIRONMENT
Be aware that it is forbidden to discharge the LX 250 or other oil bearing sewage directly in the sewerage system or surface water. According to the directives of the authorities, it is possible to do this with an appropriate oil skimmer or grease separator. In doing so, you do not only need an oil skimmer or grease separator, but also a license for maximum admissible discharges of your local authority.
